제가 사랑하는 영드 <My Family>에서 나온 표현입니다. “That makes two of us.”

 

상당히 쉬워 보이는데, 무슨 뜻일까요??  이 표현은 spoken English로 used to tell someone that you are in the same situation and feel the same way (같은 상황에 있다거나 동감할 때 사용하는 표현)이랍니다. “나도 그래. / 동감이야.” 이런 뜻으로 해석하면 되겠네요.

 

예문 만들어 볼께요.

 

I am bored with this movie. /  Then, that makes two of us.

(난 이 영화 지루하네. / 나도 마찬가지야.)

He is really mean. / Well, that makes two of us.

(그 사람 너무 비열해 / 동의해.)
